FAQ | Virtual Reality
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing something comfortable as there are games where you have to duck down and dodge things. Flip-flops, sandals, or high heels are not allowed as that highly increases the risk of injury during gameplay.
How long should I plan on playing for?
This is a case-by-case basis, as some people can play for hours without any issues. However, if this is your first time trying virtual reality or you easily get motion-sickness, we recommend starting with 15-minutes. You can always add more time if you decide you want to keep playing!
Will I get nauseous or light-headed?
Virtual reality is perfectly safe, and many advances have been made in the technology since its introduction to ensure a very low risk of nausea and disorientation, but it may still occur. The experience is different for each person.
Can I bring other people with me?
For single-stations, only the player who paid and signed the waiver is allowed to play. However, we do have a private room option, where a group up tp 6-players can share our VR headset amongst each other! There are even some games where everyone can play together, as long as you have a smart phone!
What's the difference between single-station and private room?
Our single-stations allow for only one person to play during their visit. With a private room, you and up to 5 other people, will get a single headset that you can share with each other. The players spectating will be able to see what the person using the headset can see through the TV in the room. There are even some games where everyone can play together, as long as you have a smartphone!
How many games can I play during my session?
Your slot is completely time-based - so you can play as many games as you want to choose! Realistically, we find that most people play 1-3 games during a 30 min session.

Are there any physical limitations that will hinder my experience?
Full body motion is required for some games. This includes walking around the space, ducking or dodging, and moving your arms and head. However, many experiences can be modified and only require movement of the head, and we have experiences that can be done standing or seated. Our venue itself is accessible as well; it is a two-story building, but all offerings can be available on the lower floor if needed. Please contact us if you'd like to discuss any concerns and we will be happy to make accommodations.
Do the headsets get cleaned?
Yes! Our staff cleans and disinfects all headsets and controllers, and our headsets have interchangeable face coverings that get swapped after each reservation.
Do the games ever change?
Yes they can. We test our current games for stability and we are always adding new games to our expanding library. We will add new ones based on your feedback and our own research into the latest games that have performed strongly in testing phases. Have any great recommendations? Please share them with the staff.
I have glasses. Can I experience VR?
You certainly can! We recommend wearing contacts if possible, but the headset does fit over most glasses. Sometimes both our near-sighted and far-sighted friends need to use their corrective lenses, so bring them to be safe.
Are there any age restrictions?
Any age can play, but we do require a parent on site with all minors under 13 and a signed waiver on file for all players. Typically, kids who are 8+ have a great experience. We have had plenty of kids younger than that, but it's on a case-by-case basis to see if everything will fit and be comfortable for them.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can reschedule your time up to 24 hours out at no charge. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment incurs a 50% charge. If you cancel, we unfortunately do not issue refunds.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes - however, we definitely recommend pre-booking your slots! If you walk in, we cannot guarantee availability.
